About Plastikoil® Concept QS2 Dual Interline System
The Plastikoil® Concept QS2 Dual Interline System for the manufacturing and automated insertion of plastic spiral binding from Gateway Bookbinding is the first of its kind. Plastic spiral binding is formed in the diameter and length needed on the Plastikoil® New Concept Former. The PLC control system then signals the unit to convey the coil either left or right to one of the two interlined PBS 3000 QS Quick Setup Automatic Coil Inserters. The two operators of the coil inserters simply activate their foot pedal to complete the coil insertion into the book with a simultaneous crimp of the coil ends.
As the New Concept Former does not require a dedicated operator, the two inserter operators are able to achieve productivity ratings never before seen for plastic spiral with numbers as high as 1400 books per hour. Running a dual interline setup takes your company into major plastic spiral binding book production.

The Plastikoil® Concept QS Interline System forms the plastic spiral binding in the diameter and length needed then immediately conveys it into position on the PBS 3000QS Auto Inserter. The operator simply activates the foot pedal to complete the coil insertion into the pre-punched book simultaneously cutting and bending both coil ends. A huge benefit is that the operator can focus on the binding process with the Concept Former taking care of itself, which means fast and controlled production.
