About the Tachoplus TC-5500 PUR Binding Machine
The Tachoplus TC-5500 PUR Binding Machine is ideal for short-runs or long-runs and has a maximum production speed of 320 books per hour. PUR (polyurethane reactive) adhesive has much better adhesion than regular hot-melt glue (EVA) as well as better flexibility and strength. It can also bond to more surfaces – including printed and coated papers, plasticized and synthetic papers and more. It also facilitates easier flat-book opening, produces more durable books, uses less glue, is more eco-friendly and is more resistant to temperature extremes.
